THE ADVENTURE BEGINS : PART 1 - BOTSWANA

After a 1.5 hour plane flight, we landed in Kasane, Botswana. We settled into our accommodation at Chobe Safari Lodgeand put on our safari gear. We were ready for our afternoon safari!

                          Let the game spotting begin!

We went on safari …and what did we see?

Water buffaloes……herds and herds of elephants…

Fish eagles….vultures ...

 Hippos

And magically…five lion cubs sitting on a termite hill in the setting sun. 

The two lionesses were nearby in the grass.

 The big lion was resting in the grass not far away from the pride. Smiling.
