DEAR FRIENDS VISIT

Our Portuguese friends, Sonia, Miguel, Manuel and Madelena  came to Johannesburg to visit us for a long weekend. Surprisingly, after five years of living in Maputo, Mozambique; this was their first time to Johannesburg! So, we made their visit one to remember! We visited the toy store, shopping malls, restaurants, Monte Casino, The Lion Park, Moyo and the Johannesburg Zoo Lake Gardens. We had a wonderful visit with them and created many special memories that we will hold dear in our hearts.

 Greg and I felt like we were at "Grandparent Boot Camp". We passed with flying colours!

She was just the right size for a lion playmate (or morsel?).

This lion cub was the oldest in the enclosure. He was 4 months old.

And this little one is Molly. She is only 2 months old. Soooo cute!

We had  lunch at the Africa restaurant called "Moyo".
These are the friendly waitstaff.

We were fortunate to see a wedding party arrive.We heard
the singing before we saw the newlyweds and all their family.
The singing was unbelievable.

It was a glorious Sunday day and many people were out
enjoying the sunshine and perfect picnic weather.
